Kale crisps

Crispy, tasty, healthy and virtually 0 calories. The perfect snack for movie nights.

Prep.time 5min. + bake time 5 min.

You will need, per person:

  • 200g. kale leaves

  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

  • quality sea salt

  • 1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup or agave syrup

Remove all kale stems so all you have is leaves.

Preheat the oven to 120°C.

Mix all ingredients in a very large bowl.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Spread the kale over the tray evenly.

Bake for 5 min or until crispy. Check regularly that it doesn't burn, you may need to flip your tray to ensure even baking.

Leave to cool on the tray of in a large flat dish, then onto a serving bowl. If you place the kale warm in a bowl, the moisture will soften the crisps again as they cool.
